Activate your student account
If you are a new student, you need to activate your student account. You can activate your account a few days after receiving your final admission decision.
The student account gives you access to the student gateway (uu.se/student), the University's network, printing systems and a variety of services that you need for your studies.
Register
If you are admitted to the Master's programme, you are also admitted the courses in the first semester. You need to register for these courses via our studentadministrative system, Ladok. Registration is open 28 July–20 August 2023.
If you are admitted to a freestanding course, you also need to register via Ladok, within the registration period.
If you have any problems with registration, please contact the course administrator, Caroline Bergström.
Log in to the learning platform Studium
If you are admitted and have activated a student account you can log in to the learning platform Studium. Here you will find relevant programme and course information, including timetable and reading lists.
Read all information on the first page of your course in Studium. Your timetable is available five weeks before the course starts. You can find your timetable in TimeEdit by searching for your course and current semester.
Admitted with conditions
If you are admitted with conditions, you cannot register in Ladok. Instead you need to show your eligibility, before we can help you with the registration. Please contact the course administrator Caroline Bergström.
Late admission
If you sent in a late application and have been admitted, you can either register via Ladok (if the registration period is still open), or contact the course administrator Caroline Bergström.
Placed on waiting list
If there are available spaces we start calling people placed on waiting lists from approximately one week before the course start, via the e-mail address you have registered on universityadmissions.se. Remember to check your spam folder.
Cancellation
If you do not want to take the course you have been admitted to, please withdraw your application yourself via our student administration system Ladok or contact the course administrator.
