Thomas Schön and the Beijer Foundation are shaping the future of AI research

The Kjell and Märta Beijer Foundation has donated nearly 19 million SEK over five years to support the Beijer Professorship in AI at Uppsala University. This donation provides a stable foundation for the growing research environment in AI.
Professor Thomas Schön, holder of the Beijer Professorship and director of the Beijer Laboratory for AI Research, expresses his joy over the extension of the support and is pleased with the development of the research environment.
