Didem Gürdür Broo interviewed in Horizon Magazine

Associate senior lecturer/Assistant Professor at Department of Information Technology; Division of Computer Systems.

Horizon Magazine, the EU's leading magazine for research and innovation, has interviewed Didem Gürdür Broo about her research project. The article has now been published and is being shared on several platforms.

The transformation of industrial manufacturing towards greater sustainability will depend on machines and computers working seamlessly together. With an interest in environmental issues, Didem, now head of the Cyber-Physical Systems Lab at Uppsala University, began to question established perceptions in the field. She has developed an interest in how mechanical processes can be made more energy-efficient, sustainable, and socially responsible, rather than just more productive.

- It is a great honor to be included in this magazine, says Didem. If anyone wants more information about the project, they are welcome to contact me.
