Suspected data breach involving personal data from Studium

Studium’s service provider has been hacked, and there is a suspicion that personal data from Uppsala University has been compromised.
Uppsala University has reported a personal data breach to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). The University is currently investigating whether any personal data has been leaked and, if so, what data has been affected. This investigation is being carried out in collaboration with our supplier, Sunet.
What do students and staff need to know and do?
According to our supplier, Studium is secure and can be used as normal. We will provide further updates on whether any personal data may have been compromised, and if so, which data is affected.
Users who log in to Studium as guests are advised to change their passwords as soon as possible.
