The UN Climate Conference, COP 28, is underway, and Uppsala University's Sustainability Forum wants to highlight this by offering a crash course in everything related to climate negotiations. The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC, regularly releases reports on the scientific knowledge on climate change. Gesa Weyhenmeyer will lecture about the process of reviewing reports like these.
Gesa Weyhenmeyer is a professor of Limnology at the Department of Ecology and Genetics. Gesa has previously been both a co-author and an expert reviewer for various IPCC reports, most recently in 2021 for the report titled 'The Scientific Basis'.
