Erasmus studies in Switzerland

The Swiss Government provides a grant called SEMP for 380 CHF / month to exchange students. The SEMP grant cannot be combined together with CSN.

Students who plan to carry out exchange studies in Switzerland during the academic year 2022/23 (autumn semester 2022 and spring semester 2023) have the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus grant of 510 EUR / month. The Erasmus grant cannot be combined with the SEMP grant. You can combine the Erasmus grant with CSN.

Students planning to undertake exchange studies during the academic year 2023/24 will unfortunately not be eligible to apply for the Erasmus grant.

Students can still apply for a grant called SEMP (380CHF/month) that The Swiss Government provides to exchange students. Note that SEMP grant, cannot be combined with CSN.
