Lunch webinar with students Katja Pomortseva and Erik Carlqvist.
This event will predominantly be in Swedish.
On Thursday, 10 April at 12:15, we, Katja Pomortseva and Erik Carlqvist, student ambassadors for studies abroad at Uppsala University, invite you to a webinar about why we chose to study abroad and how to apply for a position.
Katja talks about her year (!!!) as a student in the Chinese capital Beijing, Erik about an intensive six months in Taipei City, Taiwan.
Why did we go? What was it like to study in a completely different culture, and what did we take with us home? We will share our best tips and tricks about studying abroad and try to answer your questions and concerns.
With us, we have a panel with some of the university's experts on everything you need to know to apply and to prepare for studies abroad, AKA the seemingly tireless international officers at the Unit for International Mobility.
They will answer questions both live and in the chat.
It is also possible to email questions in advance to studyabroadambassador@uu.se. Mark the email Question for the webinar.
So, register, find the link to the webinar in the email you receive, prepare lunch, connect to Zoom and load up your questions and thoughts.
WHEN: 12.15-13.00, Thursday, April 10, 2025.
WHERE: On Zoom. You will receive a link in the confirmation email after registration.
Registration is mandatory, but it remains open until the webinar begins.
