Step 1 – Where can I study?
Uppsala University has exchange agreements with over 400 universities around the world. The university-wide agreements are administered by the Division for Internationalisation. Here you will find each of those universities described with information about the education systems in different countries, subject area constraints, language requirements, links to courses, general semester dates, etc.
Read the information carefully about the respective universities that interest you. One of the most time-consuming moments of your application is to identify which courses you want to study there. Our partner university describes this in different ways on their own websites. Make sure you create plenty of time studying university websites before you apply. We also recommend that you read previous student exchange reports found in each university's description under "Exchange Reports".
NOTE! Not all of our partner universities are available in every application round and so you should be aware that the choice of partner universities you can apply for differs depending on when you apply. Please read more in step 3 about the different application rounds and when to apply.
Remember that your department may also have partner agreements of its own.
Here you can find our extended database of all of Uppsala University's partner agreements.
