Welcome to join a nice bike and hike to Dubbe’s memorial toghether with The Swedish Tourist Association (STF)
A bike ride of around 15 km, going along forest tracks from the ice rink in Rävhagen, via the limestone quarry to Svaide and on to Dubbe’s memorial to his daughters. There’s time for a coffee break there.
Once we’ve enjoyed the experience, we cycle a little further south, passing Dubbe’s home, Rosendal. We look at the ruins of the burnt-down main house and also see the current dwelling, which is somewhat dilapidated. Here we make a short stop and hear a bit about the site’s dramatic history. Then we begin our journey back towards Rävhagen via the Follingbo nursing home residential area and the Stora Vede nature reserve.
Needed equipment: A sturdy bike and helmet are required.
