In collaboration with the Uppsala local branch of the Swedish Tourist Association and the Student Health Service at Uppsala University, we invite you to a hike Uppsala Ridge along the Pilgrimage hike "Ingegerd Trail" from Sunnersta to Uppsala Cathedral.
The final section of the Ingegerd Trail Saturday 16 May, we will continue the final section of our walk along the Ingegerd Trail, with Uppsala Cathedral as our destination. Approximately 10 km.
We will first walk along the Uppsala Ridge towards the city centre at a leisurely pace, heading north towards the centre of Uppsala. The walk ends at Uppsala Cathedral, where we will be given an ‘informal’ guided tour by Lars Holmer, who will talk about the cathedral’s architectural history and the types of rock used in its construction.
Please bring a packed lunch and wear weather-appropriate clothing. We will have lunch at a rest area near Övre Föret.
We meet at 10:00 am at Sunnerstastugan. Nearest bus stop is Sunnerstastugan (city bus 8 and regional bus 101). Please note that the finishing time is provisional.
Maximum five student participants. Register using this form by 14 May or until all places are filled.
