Are you curious about Swedish nature and want to learn more about bats? Then this is the perfect opportunity!

Join Biotopia on a walk in the search for bats! We will have a collection of bat detectors available and will explore the sounds of the bats flying around Ultuna and the surrounding area, and try to make a species list.

  • We meet at Hospitalträdgården in Ultuna nearby the Fyris River.
  • If you have binoculars or cameras you are welcome to bring them.
  • Dress according to the weather.

The bat walk is a part av a Bioblitz that starts already at 14:00 the same day. The Bioblitz goes on for 24 hours and you're welcome to join whenever for as long as you like for parts or the hole program.

The bat walk is for free and you just drop in.

Leader is Andrew Barrett who runs White Wolf Wildlife, +46 73 086 55 85.

The activity is organised by Biotopia in collaboration with Campus1477 and Student Health Service at Uppsala University. Read more about the Student Health Service's activities.
