Meet the autumn with a cold plunge and sauna. When you take a cold bath, you release the stress hormone norepinephrine. Norepinephrine contributes to an increased ability to concentrate, which means that we can better handle stress.
A cold plunge can also trigger a strong adrenaline rush, resulting in both euphoria and pain relief. This might provide a physiological explanation for why many people experience an increased quality of life and reduced pain during and after a cold plunge.
In order to give you a better experience in the sauna/dressing rooms, we have introduced a system with vouchers and have splitted up the hour into two time slots:
- 12:00-12:30 – slot 1 (10 vouchers available)
- 12:30-13:00 – slot 2 (12 vouchers available)
That is, if you are interested in having a sauna between 12:00-12:30, you'll need a slot 1 voucher. From 12:30, you’ll need a voucher for slot 2, to get access to the sauna. Vouchers are available at the reception from 08:00 on Tuesdays. First come, first serve!
Separate changing rooms and showers for men and women, mixed sauna. Swimwear is mandatory.
