Are you keen to try long-distance skates, or have some previous experience and want company on a shorter trip and togetherness around the barbecue? Then you are welcome to come along when we meet in Fjällnora, outside Uppsala.
In cooperation with student sports Campus1477, the Student Health Service invites you to join a long-distance ice-skating trip. We go for a group tour on the part of the lake that is reported to have safe ice (i.e., it looks promising with cold temperatures the days before). Then we can divide ourselves into different groups depending on how experienced a rider you are. But no one is allowed to ride alone and you always ride under your responsibility and at your own risk!
After a while of riding, you are welcome to the grill for a little shared barbecue.
Fjällnora nature reserve is located approximately 20 kilometres east of Uppsala. You go there by car or by bus no. 809 from Uppsala Central Station at 09.31 (Location B2) to Fjällnora crossroads (at 09.53) and from there walk about 3 km.
You need to register for the event.
For more information about the event and to register, see Campus1477's website.
