Skitrip to Sälen

Through our collaboration with UppX we can offer all students the possibility to join a Ski Test Weekend with UppX! This is something you absolutely do not want to miss as it is this year’s chance to meet wonderful people and get off to a good start for the ski season.

The ski test weekend in Sälen runs 4–7 December and involves premiere skiing in Lindvallen where the leading suppliers are in place to offer a large product test of the winter’s new gear. We will head up from Uppsala on Thursday the 4th.

During the day on Friday and Saturday you can test skis and snowboards for free, but you need to have your own gear as you only test a few runs at a time. You also need your own ski or snowboard boots to be able to test equipment on site.

In addition to ski and snowboard testing, it will be a weekend full of off piste adventures, after ski, games, competitions and lots of fun! No advanced experienced is required, everyone is welcome to join!

Price: 3200 SEK (incl. accommodation, transportation and 3-day lift pass)

Departure is from Ekonomikum in Uppsala on Thursday at 15:00. We will stay in cabins with ten beds per cabin with kitchen, two bathrooms and a sauna. The lifts are open Friday and Saturday 9:00–18:00 with some slopes open for evening skiing, and Sunday 9:00–15:30. Activities and games will be organised by the UppX! The return trip will take place on Sunday at 15:00 and the trip is expected to take approx. Five hours plus stops for eating.

Last day to sign up is 23 November. Membership in UppX is required for registration. You do not have a reserved spot on the event until you complete the payment of the fee.

If you are prevented from attending, the refund can only be made if someone from the reserve list takes your place. But please contact us and we can probably solve it.
