Are you planing to go hiking with tent and want to know more about what tent and equipment that is good to have? Then this is a perfect opportunity!
In collaboration with the Uppsala local branch of the Swedish Tourist Association (Svenska Turistföreningen – STF), Studiefrämjandet and Biotopia, Campus1477 and Student Health Service at Uppsala University, we invite you a workshop for hiking with tent.
Are you planning your summer hike and need a new tent? Or are you simply curious about camping and want to know what to consider?
- Choose the right tent for the right adventure
- Tips and tricks for pitching and choosing a location
- Safety and wind
- Storing and caring for your tent
We will bring different models of tents so you can easily see the advantages of different types and how to set them up, as well as familiarise yourself with the different components of the tents. If you want to bring your own tent and set it up, that's fine too.
Bring your own food and drinks.
The workshop is mostly in Swedish.
Maximum five participants. Register using this form by 10 April or or until all places are filled.
