Speech anxiety

Talking in front of others, giving speeches, presenting group work, or being active at seminars can make many of us very anxious. Participate in the digital lecture and then take the chance to practice with others in person on two occasions.

Attend a digital lecture, "Overcome speech anxiety", given by Studenthälsa.se, where we will explain what happens in the body and mind when pressure to perform strikes, and give you some strategies to cope.

If, after listening to the lecture, you would like to practice speaking in front of others who have similar difficulties, you are warmly welcome to participate in our exposure sessions on 9 April and 23 April, 16:00–18:00. These sessions are in person, led by counsellors at the Student Health Service in Uppsala.

It is important to attend the lecture before the “exposure sessions”. Registration closes 8 April.
