Are you a new student and have a disability?
Do you have questions or concerns about how university studies work, what support is available, and what is expected of you as a student? You are welcome to talk to us about it!
During the summer, 9 June–4 July and 11–29 August, you have the opportunity to meet with a mentor for targeted study support. You are welcome to attend the meeting alone or together with a family member or someone close to you. During the meeting, you can ask questions and receive information about, for example
- how studies at the university are structured
- different forms of teaching and examination you may encounter
- what support is available and how to apply for it
- practical information about campus areas and contact persons for your programme
- other useful contacts and support services, such as the Student Health Service, the University Library, and the Language Workshop.
The meeting can take place either in person at the Segerstedt Building in Uppsala or digitally via Zoom.
