A Bachelor's degree in Semitic languages, or in theology or the humanities with at least 30 credits in a Semitic language or the equivalent.

About the course
The course introduces you to the basic topics in comparative Semitic linguistics and provides an overview of current research in the subject. It emphasises historical-comparative and sociolinguistic perspectives on Semitic languages.
Outline for distance course: The course is IT-based and taught via the university's learning platform Studium and the video platform Zoom. Access to a computer with an internet connection, webcam and microphone is required to follow the course.
