A Bachelor's degree with a language subject as the main field of study. Proficiency in Swedish and English equivalent to the general entry requirements for first-cycle (Bachelor's level) studies.

About the course
The course gives an introduction to modern Standard Arabic grammar and elementary skills in the spoken and written language, as well as provides an understanding of the role of the Arabic language in the modern Arab world and its special features in the context of other Semitic languages.
