About the course

This course develops your understanding of English as a global language as introduced in English A1. In addition to becoming more sophisticated in your use and understanding of the language, you will also learn about the history of English and some of its global varieties. Furthermore, you will learn how to analyse its use in everyday contexts as well as in literary expression. You will learn more about the major literary traditions of the English language and how they developed over time. The course is taught in English.
