About the course

The course gives you advanced familiarity with the Hebrew language in its historical development and an advanced understanding of Hebrew stylistics and text interpretation, and includes reading and analysing a selection of texts from the Mishna, the Targums and the Qumran literature.

The course has online examination sessions, the dates for which will be announced at the start of the course. Absence from the examination sessions is compensated with replacement assignments.

The course is IT-based and taught via the university's learning platform Studium and the video platform Zoom. Access to a computer with internet connection, webcam and microphone is required to follow the course.
