Quantum Mechanics MN2 or Quantum Mechanics Fk. Knowledge in special relativity and electromagnetic field theory corresponding to Analytical Mechanics MN1 and Electromagnetic Field Theory MN1.
Content
The Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations for free particles. Non-relativistic reduction. Anti-particles. Lorentz covariance of the Dirac equation. Plane waves. The Dirac equation for particles in external fields. The hydrogen atom. Symmetries. The Feynman propagator. Applications to scattering and the decay in atomic, nuclear and particle physics.
