Aims
The course is intended to enable the student to
describe the business firm and its environment
and to identify, structure and analyse problems
within the traditional areas of the subject.
Content
The enterprise and its role in society.
Market economy problems. Valuation problems.
Different types of business firms according
to the association laws. Parts of the corporate
and accounting laws. Financing. Elements of
costs and revenues. Product costing. Income and
cash budgets. Basis of finance- and management
accounting. Capital budgeting. Economic reports.
Financial analysis.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons and seminars.
Assessment
Written examination at the end of the course
(other forms of examination may be used for parts
of the course). Compulsory seminars must be passed.
