Learning outcomes
The student should
- understand basic theoretical concepts in quantum information
- describe the most important physical implementations of quantum information
- analyse simple problems in quantum information theory
- describe the potential role of quantum information for future generations of information technology
Content
Quantum entanglement, cloning, teleportation, Bell's theorem, quantum operations, distance measures of quantum information, quantum cryptography, quantum circuits, quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, physical implementations

Written examination is arranged at the end of the course and/or during the course.
