Entry requirements
Quality Assurance with Chemometrics I or other course giving the corresponding knowledge about Chemometrics.
Learning outcomes
The student will acquire a deeper knowledge about quality assurance techniques and methods especially used in the pharmaceutical industry, but also applicable to other industries.
Content
Use of special design for optimisation of processes. Integrated strategies. Preparation of data for multivariate data evaluation. Multivariate design. Multivariate calibration. Use of fingerprint techniqes in classification.
Instruction
Lectures, laboratory work, computational work, educational visits at industries and projects.
Assessment
A test will be given during the course or at the end of the course. To pass the examination, all projects and compulsory tasks must be finalised, reported and approved. An approved test will give 4.5 credits and the laboratory work 3 credits. The final grade is weighted.
