Entry requirements
Chemistry, basic course. Physical Chemistry including Thermodynamics. Organic Chemistry.
Aims
The general aim is to give fundamental knowledge
of analytical methods and analytical
procedures.
Content
Gravimetric and titrimetric analysis, methods of
separation in analytical chemistry particularly
gas- and liquid chromatography, electrochemical
methods in analytical chemistry, methods of spectroscopy in analytical
chemistry particularly spectrophotometry and atomic
absorption spectroscopy.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons and laboratory work. Compulsory moments: Course introduction and laboratory work.
Assessment
Written examination at the end of the course. Passed laboratory course is also required and is assigned 1 p.
