Aims

The course should provide information on how research and development is organised and performed, contraceptually as well as experimentally, at a university department, a private company or a government authority having biology as working area.

Content

The student is instructed by the supervisor/examiner on the aim and the methodology used in research and development at the institute or company where the work is performed. The student should also have the opportunity to participate practically in the activities. The student should participate in internal activities at the department like lectures, seminars, and general meetings. The student should study the theoretical background to one of the projects persued at the research and development department. Literature is decided by the supervisor.
