Entry requirements

A complete Biomedical Laboratory Sciences Study Programme or 150 credits from related courses of the Medicine-, physiotherapy- or Biomedicine Study Programmes or the equivalent education.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course the student should acquire:

- knowledge of basic methods in neuroscience research.

- extended theoretical knowledge in this field.

Content

The course consists of full-time studies for 20 weeks, consisting of an experimental project and related literature studies.

Instruction

Laboratory work and individual studies are guided by a supervisor. The student should be prepared to participate in related courses and seminars, as agreed with the supervisor. The course may be divided into parts.

Assessment

A written scientific report and an oral presentation of the work, both of good quality, are required. The student should also demonstrate familarity with the relevant theoretical knowledge of the field.
