Entry requirements

At least 90 credits corresponding to year 1 and 2 in the programme. For acceptance the student must have previous education in an older version of the programme or similar competence.

Learning outcomes

After approved course, the student shall:

- show in dept knowledge in biomedical laboratory sciences within a topic chosen by the student. The topics are restricted to the courses within the program at 61-150 credits.

- be able to apply their in dept knowledge in oral and written presentations.

- be able to utilise scientific data bases to acquire knowledge

- be able to set up laboratory protocols from the basis of scientific reports

- advanced studies within a chosen topic

- oral presentation

- data base search

- design a GLP laoratory protocol

Homestudies, oral presentations, written reports and seminars

Assessment

Examination will be done in the form of a oral presentation. To be approved participation in seminaries, demonstrations and study visits are obligatory.

A student who fails examination has the right to redo it 4 times (5 times in total). Under certain circumstances another timepoint for examination can be approved by the program committee. All examina that the student has attended is accounted for.
