Aims
This course provides basic knowledge of thoracic, abdominal, and vascular surgery.
Content
The development of surgery. Wound healing. Anaesthesia. Intensive care. Preoperative evaluation and postoperative care. Background and principles of the most common surgical procedures in thoracic, abdominal, and vascular surgery. Overview of endocrine, urological, and plastic surgery. Postoperative complications and their management.
