Aims
The course provides basic understanding of human systems with special attention to cell biology, the nervous system, the pulmonary system, and respiratory system.
Content
Cell biology, genetics, and immunology
Neurophysiology, pain physiology, and muscle physiology
Central and peripheral circulation
Respiration physiology
Instruction
Teaching takes the form of lectures and laboratories with demonstrations.
Assessment
Passing mark on the written examination (6 points or ECTS 9 credits) and participation in the laboratory demonstrations (0 points).
