Physiotherapy, medical, or occupational therapy degree.
Aims
The course intended to provide knowledge of ongoing research and on applications of movement analysis with laboratory equipment, primarily analysis of gait.
Content
Biomechanics, functional anatomy, anatomy, muscle and joint physiology, kinetics and kinematics, measurement methods and data analysis.
Instruction
Tuition is in the form of lectures, demonstrations and case discussions in group.
Assessment
Satisfactory completion of the course requires passing mark on written and oral presentations of patient cases that include analysis of gait. At least two students per patient case.
