General provisions

The course is part of the Euroculture Master's programme.

The course plan was agreed on 2011-08-29 by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology and will be in function from this day and onwards.

Entry requirements

The course is only available to students within the Euroculture Master's programme.

Learning outcomes

After completion of the course students will be able to:

- initiate and manage a minor research project.

- propose research question and present them in a clear and distinct manner through different oral, written and design techniques.

- write in improved, advanced-level academic English.

- propose internship possibilities and discuss time-plans and strategies for obtaining internships.

- comment on and evaluate other students' research questions and internship proposals.

Content

By using material from other courses during the semester the students will train to initiate interesting research- or managing-projects and to present them through different techniques. The students will be taught various ways of presenting the material for different audiences and will explore these techniques through active training.

Instruction

Teaching will be in form of lectures, seminars, workshops, computer labs and study-groups.

Teaching will be in English.

Transitional provisions

Members of a course regulated by a former version of this course plan may be examined in accordance with that course plan within two years after the closure of the course. If there are compelling reasons, such an examination may take place even later. Normally no instruction in accordance with former versions of the course plan is given.
