General provisions

The course is part of the Euroculture Master's programme.

The Course plan was agreed on 2011-01-31 by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology and will be in function from this day and onwards.

Entry requirements

The course is only available to students within the Euroculture Master's programme.

Learning outcomes

After completion of the course students will be able to:

- participate in, plan and manage a group project.

- evaluate the students' own performance and the performance of the group in an insightful and reflexive manner.

- initiate plans and strategies for more effective proj.

- apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical and project-oriented way.

Content

Conducted in the second semester of the program, the course focuses on practical skills and techniques in the area of project management, especially group work dynamics and inter-cultural communication, with a focus on the way projects can be developed, supported, and executed through the agencies of the European Union. The course offers instruction and opportunities for students to apply these skills through mock project applications. The students will use themes derived from their thesis-work and/orresearch seminars to train their ability to apply their theoretical knowledge.

Instruction

Teaching will be in form of lectures, seminars, workshops, computer-labs and study-groups. Teaching will be in English.

Assessment

Examination takes place through active participation in the taught sessions, written papers and presentations. The course will be graded with the grades Väl godkänd (Distinction), Godkänd (Pass), or Underkänd (Fail).

Transitional provisions

Members of a course regulated by a former version of this course plan may be examined in accordance with that course plan within two years after the closure of the course. If there are compelling reasons, such an examination may take place even later. Normally no instruction in accordance with former versions of the course plan is given.
