Aims
The course will give training in using mathematics as an engineering tool for analysis and construction of technical systems. It will also introduce the student in MATLAB, computer based calculation software.
Content
Ordinary technical equipment is modelled at the simplest level for analysis, synthesis and simulation. Use of derivation, integration, algebraic equations and differential equations to solve engineering problems. An introduction to MATLAB for analysing and synthesising mathematical technical relations.
Instruction
Lectures, lessons and computer simulations.
