Replaces and correspond to the course 3FF965 Pharmaceutical pharmacology, advanced course C. 1.5 credits (hp) correspond to 1 credit point (p) according to earlier study regulation.

Entry requirements

For students on the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Programme, it is required that at least 135 credits within the programme should be passed. For single subject course, passed courses about at least 150 credits are required of which at least 60 credits bioscience including pharmacology, students on the Chemical Engineering Programme with at least 45 credits chemistry and 30 credits drug-related courses. Other undergraduate programme after individual trial.

Content

An individual assignment that is carried out guided by a supervisor in close connection with ongoing research or development projects.

Instruction

The educational instruction is carried out in the form of individual supervision, seminars and literature studies. Compulsory parts of the course: Written presentation of the degree project and oral presentation of the work, participation in a general seminar announced by the department and a popular compilation of the project in the form of e g a poster or oral presentation.

Assessment

The completed work is presented orally before audience and as a written report that has the form of a scientific essay. In order to achieve the overall grade "Pass" for the entire course, all the compulsory parts of the course must be passed, including the laboratory (examination code) and written examination (examination code).
