Entry requirements
130 credits including 75 credits in technology. Admission requires a project plan accepted by the department.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- independently identify, formulate and solve problems as well as carry out tasks within given time frames,
- search, gather, evaluate and critically interpret relevant information in a problem statement as well as critically discuss phenomena, issues and situations,
- present and discuss information, problems and solutions, both orally and in writing, with different target groups,
- work independently within the chosen area,
- present the results in a clear and correct language both orally and in writing to different target groups, both in scientific and popular science.
Content
An independent project is carried out, where the knowledge from earlier completed courses are applied. The project is guided by a supervisor in close connection to ongoing projects in research or development.
Instruction
Individual instruction and seminars.
Assessment
Oral and written presentation of the degree project (further information under Other Directives). Opposition on another degree project, or equivalent (defined by the course examiner).
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the disability coordinator of the university.
