From a practical point of view, participants will know how to:

  • design organisations with a suitable level of entrepreneurial activity,
  • orally and in writing discuss, present and compare solutions to the theoretical and practical problems treated in the course.

Particular emphasis is placed on developing the skills needed for initiating, developing and implementing new business ventures within already established corporate contexts.

The main contents and core issues include but are not necessarily limited to: the preconditions for corporate entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial processes within the established corporation, the development and implementation of new corporate ventures, and designs for creating the entrepreneurial corporation.

Assessment

The student will get one single grade, equivalent to 7.5 credits.

Examination takes the form of individual written exam. The course also includes the completion of a number of written assignments. Completion of the course requires a 'Pass' on all of the assignments, but they are not included in the calculation of the final grade for the course.

Grading criteria are presented in the study guide that applies to the course section. The following grades will be used: pass with distinction (VG), pass (G), and fail (U). Examinations handed in late will not be assessed except under special circumstances. Any remaining supplemental work must be completed and handed in by the deadline specified in the study guide. Otherwise the entire course (all examinations included) must be retaken during subsequent course sections.

If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special pedagogical support from the University's disability coordinator.
