Entry requirements
Basic programming, comparable to Computer Programming MN2.
Aims
The course is intended to give the students thorough insights into the craftsmanship of programming. The emphasis is on flexible methods, in this case "agile software development". The students will try out tools that re suited for a flexible way of working as a programmer.
Content
The course introduces traditional development processes, e.g. the waterfall modell, and compare them with agile methods. Planning, tools, testing, team work, clients, modelling and introduction of components are issues covered. A project is used to give real experiences with tools and methods.
Instruction
Lectures, seminars, assignments and a project.
Assessment
Written exam. Passed laboratory course and approved compulsory assignments are also required.
