Entry requirements
Knowledge and achievements corresponding to courses in chemistry, mathematics and technology during the first two years of the program.
Aims
To understand the basic principles and practical use of various analytical separation techniques.
Content
To learn the theory and practise of extraction, chromatography and electrophoresis in analytical applications. Understand how instruments are constructed and maintained.
Instruction
Lectures, seminars, laboratory work and projects. Training in oral and written reports.
Assessment
Examination is arranged at the end of the course. The laboratory work as well as projects must be passed. The written exam is equal to 5 points, and the practical work is equal to 3 points.
