Aims
To provide basic knowledge of linear algebra.
Content
Matrices and matrix calculus. Vector spaces.
Linear mappings. Bilinear and quadratic
forms. Euclidean spaces. The spectral theorem.
Quadratic curves and surfaces.
Instruction
Lectures and problem solving sessions.
Assessment
Written examination at the end of the course.
Moreover, compulsory assignments may be given
during the course.
