Content
Divisibility. Congruences. Primitive roots.
Quadratic residues. Arithmetic functions.
Continued fractions. Irrational numbers.
Diophantine equations.
Instruction
Lectures and problem solving sessions.
Assessment
Written and, possibly, oral examination at the
end of the course. Compulsory hand-in
assignments may occur during the course.
