Aims
The course provides an introduction to the theory of ordinary differential equations and spectral theory.
Content
Existence theorems. Variation of constants.
Linear systems with constant coefficients.
Boundary value problems and Green's function.
Eigenfunction developments. Differential
equations with analytic coefficients.
Instruction
Lectures and problem solving sessions.
Assessment
Written and, possibly, supplementary oral
examination at the end of the course. Moreover,
compulsory assignments may be given during the
course.
