Knowledge and skills corresponding to chemistry courses 40 credit points including Organic chemistry 7 credit points.
Aims
Give knowledge how to work with radioactive nuclides, synteses and production of interesting target molecules. the use of radioactive nuclides in clinical diagnosis, medicinal research and pharmaceutical research.
Content
Basic knowledge of radioactive radiation. Production of radioactive nuclides. Interaction between radioactive radiation and matter. Syntheses and radiolabelling of organic molecules.
Instruction
Lecutres, lessons and laboratory work. Laboratory work, oral and written presentations are obligatory.
Assessment
Examination are arranged at the end of the course. The laboratory work and written report must also be passes.
