Aims
In a broad perspective the course presents goals and methods within bioinformatics and modern biotechnology.
Content
An overview of bioinformatics and modern biotechnology. Medical and industrial biotechnology and bioinformatics. Presentation of the biotechnical industry. Current labour market. Future perspectives.
Practicals: Introduction to computer practices in biotechnology and bioinformatics.
