Content

Course Contents

The course focuses on the behaviour of business firms in international markets. The fundamental question is how firms interact and manage their relationship with firms in their foreign markets. The matters of how firms penetrate, expand and/or maintain their business in the foreign markets is under focus. Aspects like the internationalisation process and internationalisation modes like exporting, joint venture, etc. are under the attention. Understanding of different internationalisation modes and their impact on the firms' behaviour can assist discussion on how firms act in their international market. In this vein international marketing is connected to how firms manage its own resources when aiming to penetrate or expand in foreign markets.
