Entry requirements
Knowledge and skill corresponding to Earth Science 40 points (60 ECTS credits) including Structural Geology and Field Course MN1, 10 points (15 ECTS credits) and Sedimentology and Stratigraphy MN1 10 points.
Aims
To provide a deeper understanding of and skills in field methods for the interpretation of sedimentary and volcanic rocks, with respect to their depositional environments, primary structures and tectonic structures.
Content
The course is part of the internationalisation of the education. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is responsible for the course. The course is usually given in August and includes field work and excursions.
