Uppsala University Global Alumni Day 2017

On one day Tuesday, 7 November,  2017, for the very first time, Uppsala University alumni volunteers across the globe arranged alumni get-togethers in their hometowns.

The day started with an alumni breakfast in Dunedin, New Zealand, made its way around the globe and ended with dinners in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle in the United States. Altogether there were alumni-led events in 62 cities in 45 countries, ranging from "fikas" to mingles. 

Uppsala University Global Alumni Day aims to celebrate this extraordinary network of Uppsala University alumni world-wide. It was a day for alumni to reconnect with Uppsala University, reminisce about the time in Uppsala and to make new acquaintances and friends.
