This is the Alumni Network
The Uppsala University Alumni Network is a global network for all former students and staff members of Uppsala University. The network offers you a way to keep in touch with the University and former classmates, as well as opportunities to meet new friends and give back to your alma mater. To date, over 30 000 alumni in more than 150 countries around the world have chosen to become members.
All our alumni are a tremendous and valued asset to the University. Many are active and committed members of alumni associations and chapters. Some help us design our degree programmes and courses, contribute as guest lecturers or help our students find internships and opportunities for degree projects. As an alumnus there are many ways to get involved and stay in touch with Uppsala University.

Each year, Uppsala University awards the title of Alumnus of the Year
Uppsala University Global Alumni Day
On one day Tuesday, 7 November, 2017, for the very first time, Uppsala University alumni volunteers across the globe arranged alumni get-togethers in their hometowns. The day started with an alumni breakfast in Dunedin, New Zealand, made its way around the globe and ended with dinners in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle in the United States. Altogether there were alumni-led events in 62 cities in 45 countries, ranging from “fikas” to mingles. Read more about Uppsala University Global Alumni Day.
