Evolutionsmuseet, Gustavianum och Botaniska trädgården bjuder in till unika visningar av rum du vanligtvis aldrig får se. Följ med oss och upptäck samlingsmagasin, växthus och praktrum!

Alla visningar måste förhandsbokas på info@em.uu.se. Begränsat antal platser. Visningarna är ca 60 minuter långa. Samling på Evolutionsmuseet Zoologi, Villavägen 9, inför varje visning. Fri entré.

12.15 Botaniska trädgårdens odlingsväxthus
Under våren arbetar trädgårdsmästarna med uppdrivning av grönsaker, blommor och annat som sedan planteras ut i trädgårdarna. Kom på visning i våra odlingsväxthus.

12.45 Evolutionsmuseets botaniska samlingar
I ett hus som vanligtvis aldrig är öppet för allmänheten finns vårt herbarium. Se våra samlingssalar, Joachim Bursers Hortus siccus och drottning Lovisa Ulrikas botaniska band.

13.45 Gustavianums historiska samlingar
Vad berättar vikingatidens djurornamentik?
Gustavianums historiska samlingar berättar om Sveriges och världens kulturhistoria genom föremål från när och fjärran.

14.15 Evolutionsmuseets zoologiska samlingar
I museets utställningar finns otaliga djur utställda, men i magasinen finns de verkliga skatterna: tusentals skalbaggar, unika Linnédjur och mer eller mindre bra uppstoppade föremål.

Behind the scenes

The Museum of Evolution, Gustavianum and the Botanical Garden invite you to unique tours of rooms you usually never get to see. Discover storage rooms, greenhouses and treasure vaults!

All tours must be booked in advance at info@em.uu.se. Places are limited. Tours are approx 60 minutes long. We meet at the Museum of Evolution Zoology, Villavägen 9, before each tour.

13.00 The Museum of Evolution - Zoology
The museum’s exhibitions feature countless animals, but the storage rooms contain the real treasures: thousands of beetles, unique Linnaeus animals and more or less well-taxidermied objects.

13.30 The Museum of Evolution - Palaeontology
Ever wondered why the largest collection of dinosaur fossils in the Nordics is in Uppsala? And what other extinct animals do we have in storage? You’ll get the answers during our fossil tour.

14.00 The Botanical Garden’s cultivation greenhouses
During the spring, the gardeners work on raising vegetables, flowers and other plants that are then planted out in the gardens. Come and visit our cultivation greenhouses.

14.30 The Museum of Evolution - Botany
In a building that is usually never open to the public is our herbarium. See our collection rooms, Joachim Burser’s Hortus siccus and Queen Lovisa Ulrika’s botanical volumes.
